ADVENTURE RACE TRAINING

The Adventure!

Do you remember the days of your youth when exercise meant playing outside all day until mom called you home for supper?  The countless hours trekking through the woods, clambering over rocks, climbing trees and splashing in the creek still holds a special place for nearly every youth and adult alike.  Recent trends in the fitness world have us taking exercise outdoors again, the most notable in the form of “Mud Runs” or obstacle racing.  Unfortunately for most of us, running and jumping, climbing and crawling doesn’t come to us as easily and naturally as it once did.  You may be wondering if it is even possible to get your body back in harmony with that adventurous spirit in you.  Our Forge Fit Adventure Race Training course is designed specifically to do just that!

The Program

This sport-specific 12 week, 24 session course is designed for genuine functional fitness and natural movement in its truest sense, and is the epitome of what Body Forge Functional Conditioning is all about.  The emphasis throughout the course is on “pound for pound” strength, teaching clients how to be the most efficient at negotiating their own person through obstacles, mastering balance and coordination, building cardiovascular endurance and developing strong physical self-awareness.  As with all Body Forge Conditioning courses, the foundation of the program is based on the 9 Fundamental Movements and 7 Elements of Fitness.  Learn to climb ropes, traverse walls and flip tires.  Your Adventure awaits!
